Community Guidelines

Hypefy is where your personality lives. These Guidelines keep it a place where people can be themselves safely. They apply to everything you share — posts, Shots, Shows, status notes, comments, messages, calls, and profiles — and they work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Breaking them can lead to content removal, feature limits, or account termination.

Be kind and respectful

• No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse.
• No hate speech or content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on who they are (such as race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality).
• No encouraging or celebrating self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. If you are struggling, please reach out to local support services.

Keep everyone safe

• Absolutely no sexual content involving minors. We remove it, preserve evidence, and report it to the authorities.
• No content that sexually exploits or endangers anyone.
• No promotion of violence, terrorism, or dangerous organizations.
• No sale or promotion of illegal or regulated goods (such as drugs or weapons).

Respect privacy and identity

• Do not share anyone's private or personal information without consent (this includes doxxing).
• Do not share intimate images of anyone without their consent.
• Do not impersonate other people, brands, or Hypefy staff.

Keep it authentic

• No spam, scams, or misleading schemes.
• No platform manipulation — fake hypes, bot follows, or artificial engagement.
• No coordinated inauthentic behavior or ban evasion.

Respect intellectual property

• Only post content you have the right to share.
• Music previews are provided by Apple for promotion — do not try to rip or redistribute them.
• Copyright owners can report infringement per our Terms.

Adult and sensitive content

Hypefy is a general-audience community. Do not post pornographic content or excessive gore. Some sensitive content may be limited, age-restricted, or removed to keep the community welcoming.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, report it in-app (via the report option on a post, comment, message, or profile) or block the user. We review reports and take action, which may include removing content, warning or limiting accounts, or terminating repeat or serious offenders. We consider context and may make exceptions for clearly educational, documentary, or newsworthy material. Serious issues are escalated to our Grievance Officer and, where required, to the authorities.
